2012 USHCC Hill Day
A 22 year tradition, Hill Day is an effort by the USHCC to bring together various Hispanic Chamber affiliates for meetings with senior leadership and thought leaders on Capitol Hill to share information about their Chamber and discuss their legislative priorities.In order for our team to begin scheduling your appointments, please review the registration procedures outlined below as well as the timeline for Chambers to register for Hill Day. Registration for Hill Day is required and separate from registering for the Legislative Summit. There is no additional cost to register in Hill Day but you must be registered for the Summit to participate.
Registration for Hill Day simply entails filling out the online “Chamber Hill Form.” The earlier you register, the higher the probability of securing a meeting with your representative.
Hill Day Registration
STEP 1: You must first register for the 2012 USHCC Annual Legislative Summit. CLICK HERE to register.STEP 2: To register for Hill appointments, please fill out the online form found below. Deadline to register for Hill appointments is March 1, 2012. You must include all contact information in the online form as meetings with your individual House and Senate members are contingent upon the information you submit.
Timeline
March 1, 2012: Deadline to register for Hill Day.March 12, 2012: Circulation of Hill meeting schedules will commence.
March 21, 2012: Hill Day packets and final meeting schedules will be distributed to Chambers who registered for Hill appointments online. When you check-in for the Summit, you will be handed your Hill Day packet at that time.
March 22, 2012: Hill meetings will take place from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. A Podesta Group consultant will meet you outside of the designated congressional office 15 minutes prior to your meeting.
